Opportunities for Independent Contractual Service Providers: Small Grants Logistical Support

The Network of Chinese Human Rights Defenders (CHRD) is seeking one independent contractor to provide logistical support service to its Small Grants Program.

Locations negotiable.

Descriptions of the Services:  Provide administrative and logistical service to assist CHRD’s Small Grants Program

Qualifications:  An advanced (graduate) degree or equivalent in international relations, journalism, law, or other social sciences, and working experiences in a related field, are required. 

Required Skills and Knowledge: 

  1. Native spoken and written language skill in Mandarin Chinese, and proficient spoken and written language skill in English. 
  2. Good knowledge of the relevant fields.
  3. High proficiency in using digital security applications.
  4. Strong skills to work collaboratively and independently. 

If based in the US, permission to work legally in the US is required.  Non-citizens of the US may apply for working from outside the US.  

Salary and Benefits: 

CHRD offers competitive contractual payment, negotiable on the basis of demonstrated experiences. CHRD does not provide benefits for independent contractual service providers.
