华盛顿 — 直言不讳针砭时弊的中国人权律师余文生和妻子许艳被捕一年多,被控煽动颠覆国家政权罪,不久前从北京送进江苏省苏州市看守所。近日,一位律师到苏州会见了余文生。美国之音通过知情者了解到,余文生并不担心他自己的政治案子,但是担心刚满19岁的独子余镇洋。消息人士称,患有严重抑郁症的余镇洋已试图自杀十多次,至少两次送医急救。人权组织和海外人士呼吁中共当局基于人道理由立即释放余文生夫妇,以便他们能够照顾孩子并挽救他的生命。
