China must immediately release prominent rights lawyer Jiang Tianyong, who received a two-year prison sentence on November 21, 2017 in retaliation for his defence of human rights and rule of law. His conviction is the latest in Xi Jinping’s ongoing attack on rights lawyers, which has raged since 2015.
